ABOUT US

ABOUT US

We believe economic empowermet is critical for individuals and communities affected by chronic poverty and its associated challenges. People in these neighborhoods lack the skills and capacity to access meaningful employment opportunities, and traditional employers struggle to unlock the talent from this massive and underserved group of people.

Well-intentioned organizations seek to improve capacity in these communities, but struggle to either access appropriately developed content, or to deploy training into difficult areas. We act as a bridge between these 3 actors to ensure it properly addressed the core labor gap.

PEOPLE

Our goal is to work with people who are disenfranchised from the labor market. These are people who might be unemployed, or are employed in low-paying, low-skill work. We also work with those likely to enter the labor market in the near future (16-years or older). Our team has a decade of experience in addressing the various challenges facing people in such circumstances. Our experience allows us to work with clients to ensure they are well positioned to engage, recruit and train from these communities.

Finding talent is key to sustaining performance, and employers are looking to unlock new labor pools to find quality talent. We work with employers to understand the skill sets critical to on-boarding new staff, and assist them through the process of identifying, recruiting and training staff from at-risk communities. Our Incubator services also offer legal, financial and structural support to start-ups looking to work in these communities
